I had the great pleasure of working with David Peacock to sell our home in Bobcaygeon. I originally had the home listed as a private sale while I was slowly working on some minor repairs and staging when David reached out to. Although I had a few strong bites selling it privately, the offers were coming in lower than expected. Sure I would save the real estate fees, but even then. So we made the move to go with a realtor after David reached out to offer his services. David met with me and had an entire research report that had the history on the home, past owners, a market evaluation and marketing plan. This was much more than any other realtor had done when approaching me for a listing - and believe me, there were a few. The sale went quick - but coincidentally , the two offers, and final sale were from contacts I had made when listing it privately. However, the offers were significantly more - and we ended with about $20K more in our pocket, even after realtor fees due to his firm stance and negotiating tactics. Not to mention David was helpful in finding us a painter that was available, although at a premium. However, the work was done weeks earlier. Overall, David did a great job and I would recommend him to anyone looking for an agent. Mark H.
